1/21/23 --- The Legend of Vox Machina, Season 2

Alright, I'm gonna geek out for a moment.

Vox Machina Season 2 came out yesterday and tonight I finally got a chance to watch the first three episodes with the boys. And all I have to say is WOW. Seriously, I loved the first season of this show, it was absolutely amazing, but this second season is off to an amazing start! For those of you that don't know, Vox Machina is on Amazon, an animated show about a group of adventurers in the world of Exandria, overcoming odds and fighting dragons with magic, swords, axes, daggers, and illusion. It's based on the super popular online series, Critical Role, and therefore a D&D campaign come to life. The cast are all professional voice actors, so they put on a very entertaining show and the animated series is no different.

Anyway, I find their work SUPER inspiring. I actually listen to Critical Role to fall asleep each night, letting their adventures carry me off into dreams of my own. I pull a lot of inspiration from their crew and this new season is definitely getting the gears turning. The world is so fleshed out and alive that it's hard not to get completely overwhelmed while watching it. Even though I already know their story and what's going to happen, I still find myself caught up in the emotions of it all. It's really great.

That being said, it's making me want to work more on my own fantasy world, Eadronem, that I'm in the process of building out. Once I finish The Quest for Cowmelot, I'll move on to working on that trilogy. My hope is to bring this new world to life and make it much more compelling than anything else I've written thus far. We'll see how it goes in the D&D one-shot I'm having my friends play in that world. This feels like a much longer project that's going to kinda be a side-ish gig while I'm turning out other things.

Speaking of which, I began work last night on werewolf smut #2, Beta's Bliss. I think I've got the actual story itself nailed down now, so I'm going to go ahead and order the cover this week so I can get it up for preorders. My hope is to gather in a few of these crazy amounts of readers I have right now and lock them in for the next book of the series. After that, my plan is to have it out by April at the latest. Usually these are the fastest for me to write, so it shouldn't take too long to put together.

I feel like I've got so many irons in the fire with more fantasy, another romance book, all these sales coming in, facebook ads, and the like, but it's also so exciting to have things moving in the right direction! I even got my audiobook account figured out, so those will be going up an audible shortly as well!

Let's keep things heading in the right direction!
