1/25/23 --- Another day writing werewolf smut...

 I said what I said. I'm working on Beta's Bliss, book #2 of my werewolf smut series, Tales of the Tellurian Pack. So far it's going pretty well. I'm trying to make sure I hit a few more tropes and expectations with this one since it seems my last one was labeled as "non-typical" for the genre. I don't mind being non-typical, but I don't want people upset that I'm missing the point of the genre completely, because that just leads to bad reviews and pissed off readers. Definitely not what I want.

Either way, the story is going well so far. I'm building up the tension between these two characters and building the forbidden love angle into the story. The hope is to make this one a bit steamier than the last, but also keep it heartfelt and satisfying for myself to write. I don't like writing smut just for the sake of smut, I want these two boys to find the love they deserve in the end too. That's really what we all want deep down I think. That's where the satisfaction lies.  So that's what I'm shooting for.

I forgot to order the cover for the book yesterday, so I DID actually do that this morning. I imagine it won't take too long and I've already written the synopsis for the story as well. So once I get it back, I'll have it up for preorder within about 10 minutes. 

Update on facebook ads, I feel like I'm spending a ton of money on these things. However, I've watched my average pages read climb from less than 1k per day to an average of 6-7k per day, with some nearly reaching 10k! That's a crazy amount of pages for me! Not to mention, that keeps my books at a much higher rank in the Amazon store, which shows them to more people, which means more organic sales, and it just compounds from there. My hope is to get some of them high enough in the ranking that they "stick" and the organic sales keep them high while the ads just create a base foundation for them to sit upon. It's kind of a weird concept, but it makes sense once you think about it. 

I'm still editing Cowmelot as well and should be back into writing it by the end of the week at the latest. I'm really excited to finish that story and share it with the world. It's absolutely bonkers, so get ready for some chaos!
