2/23/23 --- At Disney for the week

 Hey all,

Apologies for being so quiet this week, but I'm down in Florida with the boys at Disney. We spent all day Tuesday on planes, which had ZERO wifi even though they advertise it. It's $10 to access and the "free" wifi that comes with the flight is for FB messaging only, so that's lame. But oh well. That kinda cut into my writing time a bit, but I've got all day to myself today, so I'm gonna finish up Cowmelot and start putting it together for publishing. 

Got some news from work today that I'm not super happy about. I'm keeping my job, so no worries about lay-offs. I've redacted everything else I want to say because I know people at work snoop through my life and will probably end up here.

Yesterday the boys and I went to Universal Studios to see everything there. And honestly, I have to say that I wasn't really impressed. There were a few things that were really cool, like walking through Diagon Alley and the Jurassic Park gates, but other than that, the entire place is just kind of a big gift shop. Rides were 2 hour waits minimum and the experience stuff (like getting a wand that chooses you or meeting the velociraptor) were full the moment the park opened, so we weren't able to do anything with them. I even tried to book a build your own lightsaber for tomorrow, but it looks like that's been full for a long time too. Either way, it's cool to see everything, just not sure if this is a place I want to visit again with the sole purpose of going to amusement parks. Coming down to Florida and staying at the resort has been great though. I'd do that all month long if I could. It's nice to get out of the house and go see something new once in a while.

Alright, well it's time for me to get to writing for the day so I can get this book finished and make my deadline.

3/6/23 --- Back from Vacation

 Hello all, Typing this from my phone today because the internet is out for some reason. But just wanted to say that I'm officially back from vacation. We went down to Florida for a week and stayed at a Disney resort, which was pretty cool. It was really neat to see all the things at the parks that I've grown up watching. We even went to Universal Studios, but that was pretty boring compared to disney honestly. I think I'd like to go back down there again someday, but man do I hate planes. Ugh. I'll just drive next time or something and stay for like a month, get a short term rental or whatever.  But we made it back and I've been spending the past week writing my butt off. During vacation, I was able to finish not one, but TWO books. The Quest for Cowmelot was finished and released on 2/27 while Beta's Bliss was finished in the past couple of days and it's set to release on 3/8. 1/14/23 --- Alpha's Rejection out at midnight!

 Today was a day full of D&D, chaotic choices, and watching Muppet movies. I play D&D with my group, the Atlaran Adventuring Company on Twitch each weekend and we always have a great time. Today my character Noah, made a lot of chaotic choices and is currently one hit away from being killed by an actual god. However, we had to stop mid-battle due to others needing to get on the road for other plans, so we'll get back to it next week and see what kind of insanity we can get into! I can't wait to write a book about Noah Borago someday. He is really an amazing character! I've had so much fun playing him for the last year. The boys and I ordered out tonight, burgers from a local place, and hung out before one of them went out to the theatre. There was a show playing with a lot of historical and cultural experience (I was supposed to go) but it was kind of a huge downer of a show and I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still burnt out from the holidays. 2/10/23 --- Craziest work day in a long time....

 These past couple of days at work have been absolute murder. I've NEVER been so unbelievably busy. Like to the point where even a bathroom break is not an option and that's insane. I spent 3 full hours in meetings this morning, back to back, then spent the rest of the day working my ass off so we could just barely end the day with only one thing left to do. Literally, 8 straight hours of craziness and I am NOT a fan. Days like today are the reason I keep driving at being a full-time author. Working a day job like this one and then working for 4-5 hours a day on my author stuff on top of all that really doesn't leave me a lot of time to spend with my boys or doing much else with my life. I'd like to get outside or have a moment to run errands if I need them. I can't even schedule appointments to get my car fixed or get new glasses at this point. And the worst part is, I'm the ONLY person on my team at work, so taking time off isn't really an option. Of cours
